I love teaching Math and Science because I believe that students learn best by doing hands-on experiments to focus on the big ideas and identify connections in the world around them. My goal as an educator is for every student to gain knowledge and skills to be successful and thrive in the real world. I strive to achieve this goal by setting clear expectations, building positive relationships, and modeling consistency for my students.

My Credentials
I grew up north of Houston in Porter, Texas and attended New Caney High School. I moved to College Station in 2012 and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University.
I am a TIA designated Master teacher, certified in Math, Science, and English as a Second Language (ESL). I am also a STEM Certified Educator, having completed 90 credit hours through the National Institute for STEM Education. I student taught at Rayburn Intermediate and then taught math there for 2 years and science for 3 years. I left the classroom for a year, working as a science instructional coach where I enjoyed traveling to campuses and helping to grow teachers in Bryan ISD. Now I am back in the classroom and this will be my 2nd year teaching in the Bilingual program here at Sadberry Intermediate!
